Women on the Front Lines – Let’s Win an Optimistic & Sustainable Future Through Outstanding Leadership!
Leadership is the key for change in the world and women are on the front lines of these momentous
transformations. In the face of social, cultural and gender challenges, women across the region
have ventured in the media, diplomacy, technology, literature, art, science, business and
politics among many others, yet they still lag behind in most patriarchal societies. However,
women are now determined more than ever to continue the ancestral fight and take on current
pressing moral responsibilities, irrespective of the trials and tribulation.

Organized by the May Chidiac Foundation, Women on The Front Lines conference (WOFL)
features influential women who have inspired leadership, change, and sustainability in their
respective fields. In December 7, 2016, for the1st time MCF launched its regional edition of WOFL in Amman, Jordan under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Since then, overall, themes have come to include politics, media, journalism, diplomacy, entrepreneurship, business, public policy, and violence, and the role of women in guiding practices and policy towards honest conduct, reconciliation, countermeasures, and community building. Speakers have
flown from all over the world to speak about relevant crucial topics.
