Key players such as Russia and Iran have exerted substantial influence over Lebanon’s political landscape. The Vienna Talks, focused on Iran’s nuclear program, have implications for Lebanon and its relationship with Iran and Hezbollah. The emergence of the Asian Geopolitical Alliance, comprising countries like China, Russia, and Iran, could potentially impact Lebanon’s internal dynamics. US policy and the presence of the US Army in the region have also shaped Lebanon’s internal affairs. The international response to Lebanon’s political developments has included diplomatic efforts, economic aid, humanitarian aid, and initiatives aimed at fostering stability. These external influences collectively contribute to shaping Lebanon’s political trajectory, necessitating a careful understanding and management of these dynamics.
